Did you know eggs can be preserved for years without refrigeration—while maintaining their nutrients? Welcome to the world of freeze-dried eggs, a modern homestead innovation we’re excited to share with you at Stonetown Acres!
What Are Freeze-Dried Eggs?
Freeze-drying is a preservation process that removes all moisture from eggs while keeping their structure and nutrients intact. The result? A lightweight, shelf-stable product that lasts up to 25~ years when stored properly. Roughly 10~ years if you choose our more sustainable mason jars.
Why Freeze-Dried Eggs?
1. Convenience: Perfect for camping, emergencies, or quick cooking at home.
2. Longevity: Store them for years without worrying about spoilage.
3. Versatility: Use them just like fresh eggs—mix with water and cook as usual!
